Margaret River is one of the world’s great wine growing regions. Several labour hire companies have offices in the Margaret River townsite specialising in the recruitment of casual workers principally for vineyard work.

The Margaret River Backpackers has established an association with labour hire companies, Down to Earth, Labour Solutions and Vine Power who use our work desk at the hostel.

Casual vineyard workers are required throughout the year with the busiest time being pruning (June-September) and grape picking (February-April).

International backpackers are keenly sought by vineyard operators. There is also other work available on the vineyards and other farms, labour, bar, and restaurant  work available in Margaret River through out the year. Just speak to our friendly staff who will send you in the right direction.
